LA GRANGE, KY (WAVE) - Western and Historical Art from artist Richard Luce.
Luce's work is inspired by his hiking in the back country of California, Canada, Wyoming, Montana, Alaska and Utah.
According to Luce, art should "convey a sense of wonder to the viewer. One should never tire of looking at it, but should always feel the excitement of new discoveries."
Luce's art depicts the primitive lifestyles of the pioneers and Native Americans.
It will be on display in the Rob Morris Chapel Education Building at the Oldham County History center Thursday, May 31 to June 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
